Good morning, friends.
It’s been a crazy busy week here in our home. So many doctor’s appointments, wrapping up school for the year, pondering and praying about big decisions, new therapists for the kids…on and on.
Needless to say, I am so ridiculously far behind on life. Please forgive me for the many, many unanswered e-mails. I am so sorry! I wish I had more hours in my day.
I did just want to stop by quickly and give you all an update on the young mommy so many of you have reached out to help. This is from my social worker.
“I just wanted to drop you a note and for you to let your community know how completely overjoyed I am these last few days. Gifts have been arriving from all over the U.S. and today, from Argentina…with diapers, wipes, clothes galore, shoes, socks, blankets, books, toys and gift certificates. WHAT A BLESSING and WHAT SPECIAL PEOPLE exist out there, who know the true meaning of assisting others in need. It’s been like Christmas to me…lol…even though they’re not for me, its fun to see packages arrive on my door step and having the joy of delivering (daily) gifts to this pregnant mom. She’s not one to show much emotion or excitement but there is no way the encouraging notes from other families and the generosity has not touched her in some way.
I also wanted to update you on the twins’ status. They will be arriving around noon next Tuesday. They are presently very tiny…around 4 pounds each but reportedly healthy.”
Praise Jesus! Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus to this precious young woman who has courageously chosen LIFE for her twin boys. Please continue to pray that she would see Jesus in such a tangible way through the love which has been lavished upon her. And pray too for her tiny little boys who will be born next Tuesday. I cannot even begin to imagine how overwhelming it must be doing this alone.
I am so, so thankful to every single one of you who has reached out to this mama over the last few days. With all my heart…thank you!
