a glorious week

There is so much bad news everywhere.  I can’t even stand to watch the news anymore.  Even the headlines are depressing.

But, oh my goodness, this is turning out to be an awesome week with some really wonderful things happening–God’s promises and His provision fulfilled.  It’s time to give praise where praise is due for great things He has done!

One thing I am sure of is that God is GOOD and His people are AMAZING. On the occasions that I have come to you with a need, you have literally poured out your hearts to help meet that need.  I truly have been blown away by the generosity and the love that so many of you have shown to help a child or a family in need of finances. It’s the body of Christ rising up to be the hands and feet of Jesus in an astounding way.

I am so excited because right now TWO of the families that you have helped here on my blog are in country preparing to meet their precious children.

Remember the little boy who captured my heart and the hearts of many…sweet Vanya?  He is finally about to have his dream come true.  Vanya will meet his family this week.  Up until recently he has had no idea that he is being adopted.  Can you even imagine the joy when this little boy will finally get to meet the family he has begged and pleaded for?  I get chills just thinking about it.  Please follow the Fisher’s journey right here.  Pray for them this week and in the days to come as they bond with Vanya.  How I wish I could be a fly on the wall when he hears that he has a family all of his own.

Also, the Cannells got a super quick travel date and will meet Carson and John this week too.  This is such a journey of faith for this amazing family as they prepare to bring home these little lovies with EB.  Their time in country will be longer than usual as they are adopting from two separate regions.  Let’s stand and trust with them that everything falls into place and that they can bring those angels home as fast as possible.  As you may remember, both boys urgently require medical attention.  You can follow along right here. Hang in there, sweet boys, help is on the way!

And while you’re praying, can I please remind you to pray for all these families?  A few more families have added their details to the Linky. Many of them are still so very short on the finances that they need to bring their sweeties home.  They’re trusting the Father for every dollar and are not wavering in their faith that He WILL come through for them.  Please prayerfully consider sowing seed into their adoptions.  I know that it will be very much appreciated.

Thank you so much for praying and for supporting these courageous families as they journey the road less traveled.  It is not an easy road.  Adoption is not for the faint of heart.  But the prize at the end is worth far more than any money could ever buy, any tear shed in paperwork frustration, any emotional rollercoaster along the way.  It is worth it!

Thank you for helping to ensure that each and every child gets their miracle….a family to call their own.

I cannot wait to see pictures of these three little boys in the arms of their families who love them.  It sure is a glorious week.
