in His faithfulness

“O LORD, you are my God;
I will exalt you and praise your name,
for in perfect faithfulness you have done marvelous things
things planned long ago.”  ~~ Isaiah 25:1

He is a FAITHFUL God!

I have shared so much sadness here over the last couple of days.  Sweet Zoey who still waits for a family.  And precious Henry whom so many of us fell in love with over the last year–now safely in the arms of Jesus.

Sometimes it honestly feels like my heart will break in two.

The truth is that some days life makes no sense at all.

Children suffer.

Goodbyes are said far too soon.

And we cry out, “Why, Lord?”

Trusting God with everything I have is sometimes so hard. I question.  I doubt.  My faith feels smaller than a mustard seed.

I am reminded over and over today that my God is good!  His promises are true–He never forsakes His people.

And though on some days, the thought of heaven is simply glorious…

We, His church, still have much work to do on the earth.  How He needs us to be His hands and feet to a world desperately needing a Savior!

Amazing things happen when we come together to love, to care, to embrace, to encourage, and to BE an army of people who are called to be salt and light (Matt 5:13).

It is such a joy today to be able to share some amazing news with you all!

Another little treasure–a boy I fell hopelessly in love with when I met him last August in my Hasya’s orphanage–will soon be an orphan-no-more!

Theodore has finally been chosen!

Soon he will know the love of a family.

The feeling of arms to hold him tight.

And parents who will go to the ends of the earth to help him become all who God has created him to be.

The Father has heard the cries of His people…

…and He has answered.

“I will not leave you orphaned.”  ~~  John 14:18

I will exalt the name of the Lord…for He has done amazing things!

I am so grateful for every single person who shared Penny and Theodore’s need for a family!  What a joy it is to know that they are BOTH coming home.

Glory to God!
