just waiting to be found

Hey, friends.  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  Ours was busy–volunteering for Feed my Starving Children (highly recommended for families who love to serve!), using up ski passes for the big kids (no snow in Africa!), finally got to watch The Song (now one of my favorite movies ever!), and did a crazy amount of packing, sorting, and getting rid of belongings for eleven people (counting down to the mission field!).

Life is busy, but so blessed.

Over the last few weeks I have been asked to advocate for some precious children. Today I thought I would add a Linky where you can go and add the child on your heart–the precious one who you are praying for to find a family. So many children are either running out of time and have been waiting on advocacy lists for a very long time or are medically fragile and urgently need out.  It breaks my heart!

Once we have a list, I’m hoping that many of you will help me to share it and together we’ll trust for GOD to raise up families for these treasures just waiting to be found.  We recently got our awesome shirts from the Cogswell family adoption fundraiser and I absolutely love the quote on it.

We cannot do everything, but we sure can do something to help a child. With God, something small so often becomes something big.  Our yes can radically change the life of a child. I cannot even tell you how many children have found families simply because someone did something and shared their profile and their need on social media.  It’s truly one of the blessings of social media.

If there is a child who is on your heart–a child who has waited a long time, a child who has profound special needs and their only chance is for the body of Christ to advocate for them, a child who is aging out of the adoption system in their country–would you add their picture, please?  You will be given an opportunity to add a photo, a brief description of their need, and a link to where more information can be found.

Let’s be the hands and feet of Jesus to a child today.  We’ll do as He mandated us in James 1:27 and the outcome we’ll leave in His capable hands.  THANK YOU for your help.

Where two or more are gathered…
