One of the questions I got asked a lot on this post was about Hailee.
“I’m curious about Hailee. She looks like she is a different child to the one you brought home from the orphanage. I’m wondering what she is like at home. Does she play at all?”
I have so many things to share about my beautiful Hailee. She is doing so amazingly well. And yes, she really is a new creation in every way. I look at her these days and I simply cannot even believe that she was once this child. She really has come a very long way. In the days to come I will share more about where Hailee is developmentally and how she is doing. Words cannot express how much we love this little lovie. She is a treasure, for sure.
But for now, to answer the question. Does Hailee ever play with anything or any one?
YES! Hailee loves, loves, loves to play.
With anything.
She will sit and play with anything she can get her hands on for hours and hours. Texture and sounds are so important to her. She is fascinated by the most random things.
She loves to toss things in the air (we are constantly dodging flying objects–girl has a serious arm on her!).
And be totally silly.
What an absolute JOY this little girl is to our family.
She simply makes life so much sweeter and lovelier.
Just because she’s precious Hailee.
Fearfully and wonderfully created in the image of her Father in heaven who adores her–and never makes mistakes.
He does ALL things well!
How abundantly blessed we are that He chose us to be her parents.
I am forever grateful.
