nine points

One of the very first things I did when we arrived at our new home yesterday was check Harper’s oxygen levels.  Just one week ago she was once again borderline with her oxygen levels–at that point where she’s just one or two points away from going back on the oxygen condenser.  Again.

NINE POINTS!

That’s the difference in her oxygen saturation levels where we are now.  Her levels are better than good here–they are absolutely perfect!

And that just makes this entire journey so completely and utterly worth it!

Today has been hard. Saying goodbye to Anthony and just not knowing how things are going to work out is such a journey of faith for me.

But the Father was so good to whisper a truth to my heart as I wrestled with much today.  He reminded me of Abraham and Moses.  “Go, and then I will show you….”  The Lord didn’t give them the master plan all at once.  Their first baby step was to be obedient and go, and then He was faithful to show them the way.  I thought about Moses standing at the sea, wondering how in the world they would ever, ever get to the other side.  Daunting, to say the least.  Moses’ obedience to say yes gave the LORD the opportunity to show His chosen people His power and His glory in the midst of impossible circumstances.

Sometimes we just have to get out of the starting blocks, take a leap of faith, and trust God to do the impossible.  He has proven Himself trustworthy throughout the generations.

And He’s faithful today too.

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”  ~~ Hebrews 13:8

Praising my faithful Jesus for nine beautiful points on the pulse-ox machine…and trusting Him with everything else on my heart tonight.

Much love to all of you.
