I think I was last in line when God handed out the creative gift (oh, and the singing and dancing one, too…like, last!). That’s not to say I haven’t tried to stir up some kind of creativity over the years. I’ve tried. And failed. And tried. And completely given up. I guess that’s why I so admire women who create the most incredibly beautiful things. Anyone who can turn a beat-up old teaspoon from a thrift store into a gorgeous, one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry is totally my hero.
I absolutely love a new ministry that God birthed in the hearts of a few women. These orphan-loving, justice-seeking, beautiful women have been praying about this ministry for years, and finally God has brought it to fruition. I love the idea of Pharaoh’s Daughters (the meaning behind the name is just so perfect) and am so excited to share it with you today. In their own words, “Pharaoh’s Daughters is a marketplace and community that supports the care of orphaned children.” The website includes some seriously talented ladies who have come together to use their incredible gifting for a greater cause. I love that!
Looking to shop for a great cause? Love to give gifts that you know will benefit a child in need? Love to support women in the body of Christ? Me too! Go and check it out.
Also, if God has given you a passion for the orphan and gifted you with a creative talent, this is something that you may prayerfully consider getting involved in. Details on the website.
May His Kingdom come.
