After a rather shaky start, I finally made it to the Summit orphan conference. Oh my goodness! I lay in bed in the wee hours of Wednesday morning and seriously did not know if I was going to make it to the airport in an hour. I felt positively awful (rare for me!). Bad timing! We prayed.
Being able to be here is a gift I never expected. Such a blessing. I am so, so grateful for the opportunity to finally be at the largest orphan conference in America. A huge treat for me.
Thankfully, I am feeling so much better and had such a wonderful day at the conference today. It has been a time of great refreshing, reigniting passion, and reminding me once again why we do what we do.
IT IS ALL ABOUT JESUS!
God has been doing so much in my heart and I am looking forward to sharing it with you. It has been such a rich time of gleaning wisdom from others. I need some time to unpack it all and find the words to express all that is going on in my heart and very overcrowded brain. Soon!
In the meantime, I just could not go to bed without sharing some great news with you all. I know that many of you have been praying.

Thank you to all of you who shared her story and prayed. I am so grateful for each one of you–the amazing people who read here. Every single time I come to you with a need, you faithfully respond! Thank you for sharing Beth’s story in the hope that she would be FOUND! I believe with all my heart that God has chosen the perfect family for Beth. They are wonderful and this little cherub is going to be loved like crazy.
I will share more with you as I am able. Many have asked me about how you can contribute to her adoption. I will give you details on how you can do that soon.
In the meantime, please pray for Beth’s health and that she would remain free of all infections as she waits for her family to get to her.
Hang in there, baby girl, help is on the way. You are NOT forsaken!
