reflecting

I am seriously lacking writing creativity these days.

I close my eyes and all I see are the little faces of the precious children I met in Guatemala just a few days ago.  Or I see amazing women who now hold such a special place in my heart.  Women taken out of unimaginable circumstances and brought to a place of safety.  Women who are hearing for the first time in their lives that they are beautiful, loved, and priceless treasures.

And I pray with everything in me that God would begin to do a deep and healing work in their hearts.

I close my eyes and I see the incredible children that I met last summer when I visited my country.

Children who touched me so deeply.

Their faces etched in my memory.

Their circumstances beyond human understanding.

Their tender hearts and joy indescribable are things my own heart longs for.

And I yearn for Jesus to come back and make all things right in the world.

But I know the time has not yet come.

Many have not yet heard.

And there are many aching hearts and desperate needs right here in our own backyards.  Many are stretched and challenged and needing breakthrough in their lives.  Would you please join your prayers with mine for one of the families listed on THIS POST?  I know it would mean so much to them.

I believe in the power of prayer.  I believe that where two or more are gathered…He is there.

Praying that God would find us faithful in the big things…

…and in the small things.
