Waiting Child Wednesday

Hey, friends! Every Wednesday, I’ll be sharing one of the very sweet children that Nightlight Christian Adoptions is advocating for.  Some have special needs. Many do not. But they all have one thing in common–the need for someone to love them. Some weeks I’ll share one child, while other weeks, like today, it will be a precious sibling group needing to stay together.

This week’s Wednesday’s children are Trevor, Dane, and Cash from Colombia.

Trevor is nine years old and is an easy-going fourth grader. He has a gift for helping others, and he thinks he may want a career as a police officer when he grows up. Trevor loves school and is a good student. His teachers describe him as respectful and responsible. He is happy to eat whatever is prepared for him, but his absolute favorite dish is rice with chicken and broccoli.

Dane is a very sociable nine-year-old who loves going to sporting events, field trips and other outings. He loves leading games and activities with other children when he is not watching TV, dancing or singing. Dane enjoys receiving gifts and is very good at sharing. Spanish and Math are his favorite subjects. His teachers say his classmates adore him. He has been diagnosed with developmental delay and has difficulty in verbal expression and concentration.

Cash, although he is only six, has shown a great deal of dedication to his schoolwork. He makes good grades and has not presented any academic or social delays. Like his brother, Dane, he enjoys watching cartoons. However, he leaves the dancing and singing to his big brother. Cash prefers to go out for ice cream or go to the mall. This little cutie loves to read stories and his favorite color is blue.

Could you be the family for them? Please pray with us that a family would step up to call these sweet boys their own. As a mother to four of the most amazing sons, I know that these three will be such an enormous gift to a family willing to open their hearts to them.

If you are interested in learning more about these brothers, you can contact April Rogers at [email protected].

Also waiting for a family is a little love named Georgiana. According to her bio, she is sure joy! This active pre-schooler is known for her amazing and fun personality. She is described by her caregivers as being full of spunk, but sweet as sugar at the same time.

Georgiana is in need of a family that can accommodate her impaired vision while also providing the care she needs for her blood disorder.
Could you be the family to give this sweet girl what she needs to thrive and meet her full potential?
Although her photo can’t be shared online, you can contact Samantha Brown at [email protected] to see her picture and learn more about her.
