Many have written to ask me about her age. I know that on the New Day Foster Home blog they say that she is eleven, but that’s a mistake. I have seen her official referral information and she definitely turns fourteen next March. So just seven more months remain for a family to adopt her. She MUST legally be adopted before she turns fourteen. Not impossible, just as long as someone is willing to move very quickly and keep on top of the paperwork. Lifeline Christian Services (whom I love!) will help her family to expedite the paperwork.
Although Daphne no longer lives at New Day Foster home, you can see some of her absolute delighfulness RIGHT HERE. Be still my heart!
