this and that

I hope you have all had a blessed weekend.  Ours has been wonderful.  All sickness is OUT of my house (praise God!).  Harper is over her chicken “pops” and her skin is healing nicely.  So thankful for good health once again.

I just wanted to stop by quickly and mention a few things which have come up recently.

~~~  Firstly, thank you so very much for all the wonderful advice you all shared on this post.  It has been such an amazing resource.  Thank you for sharing what works for your families–I appreciate it heaps.
~~~  A few people have written to ask me if Penny and Theodore have found families.  The good news is that there is a family who has requested Theodore’s file from his country.  Remember that he ran out of time to find a committed family? Unfortunately, last I heard, Penny still did not have a family.  Still praying and not losing hope that she will be chosen!

~~~  Many people have also written to ask me why I don’t publish their comments on my blog.  I do publish most comments.  Only rude and disrespectful comments are deleted.  However, if you view my blog using a mobile device and leave a comment, your comments will bypass Disqus (the commenting system I use) and will go directly to the Blogger commenting system.  What that means is that if you comment using a mobile phone, your comments are unfortunately not visible to readers.  I’m sorry about that.  It’s an ongoing problem that I do hope they fix soon.  Please know that I do absolutely read each and every comment–they are just not all visible on my blog.
 ~~~  There are now THIRTY SEVEN businesses on this list who would absolutely love to assist a family that is fundraising for an adoption.  This is their “WHATEVER, Lord!”  If you are a family who has stepped out in faith to raise the ransom to bring a sweet lovie home…please get in touch with these businesses and see how they can partner with you on your mission.  It’s the glorious body of Christ in action, friends!

~~~  Are you traveling to Bulgaria to pick up Hasya and Kael on your own?  No!  I’m not.  I will tell you all about my sweet traveling companions soon.
~~~  How is Hailee doing on her new diet?  Amazingly well, thank you.  We still don’t see much change in her growth (yet!), but she is not having all the usual mucousy issues we have at this time of year. Hailee is just an absolute delight–she is learning and growing every day.  These days she has decided that clothes are such a complete waste of time and are only put on to be taken off–anyhow, anywhere, any time!  Fun times.

And finally, here are the winners of this giveaway.  Winners, please get in touch with me as soon as possible so that I can get your gift cards to you.  Thank you to each and every person who sowed precious seed into the families who are working so hard to bring their children home.  You guys are such a blessing!
