Every now and then a book comes along that just turns our world upside down. In a good way.
They’re the kinds of books that challenge and inspire us to look beyond our comfortable four walls.
Recently we started reading He Walks Among Us. Oh my goodness! If you read The Hole in our Gospel (still one of our favorite books!) and appreciate the heart that Richard Stearns (President of World Vision) has for God’s people, you will absolutely LOVE this book.
It’s a wonderful little hardcover book that you can even read aloud with some of your older children and the photos throughout the book are breathtaking.
This book has been such an beautiful reminder to our family this Christmas that it’s NOT about us!
We’re called to give when we feel like we’re running on empty…
…care when we feel like we have nothing to offer.
…love when we don’t feel like it.
…and GO when He calls our name.
