rallying for kameron

THE BEAMISH FAMILY ADOPTION IS NOW FULLY FUNDED.
ALL GLORY TO GOD!!!

Thank you to every single one of you who helped to raise almost $9000,00 in less than two days.  Thank you for opening your hearts to this family, and their special little girl waiting on the other side of the world.  Thank you for spreading the word, and for rushing in to help when there was a desperate need.  I am humbled and amazed. I stand in awe of my God in heaven who loves the orphan passionately.  THANK YOU for being His hands and feet to Kameron and her sweet family.  I am so deeply grateful, and I know they are too.

To God be the glory, GREAT things He has done!

ORIGINAL POST:

Meet Kameron.  Isn’t she beautiful?

Yeah, I think so too.

Kameron is a little girl who has waited for six years for a family to come for her.  She has special needs and has been overlooked so many times.

But Kameron has finally been FOUND!  Her family has worked tirelessly for months and months to bring her home.  Their adoption journey began in 2003.  It has not been easy.  The Beamish family has faced obstacle after obstacle as they have journeyed to bringing their daughter home.  Their fundraising efforts have been tough and provision has been very slow, to say the least.  They have been told time and time again that they should just “forget about it”.

But they have not given up!  A parent never, ever gives up on their child.  Every family who has adopted a child knows that to be the truth.

The thing is, trials are not new to this sweet family.  Just a few months ago they lost their precious daughter. She was born with a severe chromosome abnormality. So terribly painful.  They knew that God had called them to adopt, but the road has been marked with such difficulty every step of the way.  Their faith and determination to keep on keeping on, even in the face of much adversity, inspires me.

Which is why I am coming to you today, my friends.  These guys seriously need a break.  Sometimes people just need others to come alongside them and say, “We’re here for you!  We’ll help you bring Kameron home.”

God never said the journey would be easy.  Ever!

The Beamish family leave for Eastern Europe on Sunday.  Yes, THIS Sunday.  The time has finally arrived for them to bring precious Kameron home.

But.

They are still short a large amount of money.  They have exhausted all their options and are still needing $8726, 00 in order to complete their adoption.

Sound like a lot of money?  Yes.  But NOT to our God.  I believe with all my heart that God will have this family fully funded by the time they board that airplane on Sunday….

He just needs a few big ol’ hearts to make that happen!

The glorious body of Christ in action.  Us!  Of course we can do this.

So.  For the next forty-eight hours I am going to be hosting a little giveaway here on my blog.  Please, please, please consider playing a part in Kameron’s miracle, in her unfolding story.  All donations add up so quickly.  We have seen it with our four adoptions–God multiplied ALL the seed that was sown.

Anthony and I will add a little incentive…

For every one of my blog readers who contributes to the chip-in (where you will automatically be in line to win an iPAD), your name will be entered into a drawing for a lovely new Kindle!

IMPORTANT!  Please make sure that you leave me a comment on this post saying that you have donated to have your name entered into the drawing for the Kindle.  Help spread the word by posting on your blog or facebook and you’ll get an extra entry–just be sure to let me know.

****  All donations are tax deductible.

Thank you, thank you, my dear blog readers.  I love you guys dearly.  Thank you for pouring out your hearts to help a family in need.

Thank you for BEING the church!  May you be exceedingly blessed.

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
Ephesians 3:20-21
